I had a mild anxiety attack the other day, which is unusual these days as Iv`e been quite calm in the last few years. Iv`e recently been prescribed 50mg of Levothyroxine for an underactive thyroid, & also am suffering from a bad cold. Could either of these factors have predisposed me to feel anxious? I don`t want to stop taking Levothyroxine because It`s necessary according to my gp.

please do not stop the thyroxine.
Yeah, it could be because you're feeling run down with cold. I find I get more anxious when I'm feeling ill, but it could be a combination of things. I definitely wouldn't stop taking the meds. Give it a few days, you might start feeling better when the cold eases up a bit. x
