Genetis causes fo anxiety.

Iv`e read that some people are genetically predisposed to anxiety, which makes me wonder what the purpose of these genes would be. Why would nature include these genes in the gene pool when they don`t serve any purpose except to make life much harder than it needs to be.

sometimes genetic variations do one job but have a downside - eg the gene that leads to sickle cell anaemia - the gene actually causes changes that make you less susceptible to the malaria virus but the downside is sickle cell in some cases.

I've always believed that, it seems to run in families.some people are more prone to anxiety and depression than others. It's obvious there needs to be so much more research into mental illness. I just wish there was a simple cure 👍
