Hi,
It got to the point where i wouldnt go anywhere, just stayed at home, but i thought this isnt going to stop me cos i am very sociable person and love going out,so i have started going out again,i feel great now when im out because my mind isnt on my anxiety,i dont go far but feel better for doing it xx
The simple answer is yes because if you say no, then the alternative is sitting at home and doing nothing and going nowhere! As a result of saying yes, I have managed to do a lot of travelling, meet people and enjoy my work. It isn't always easy but for me saying yes, even when I wanted to say no has meant that I have been able to live outside the four walls that can so easily imprison people with anxiety. So go, have fun.
Say yes,I,ve said yes a few times and enjoyed it,if you always say no they will stop asking you which is a lot worse.Just give yourself a plan B to leave if need be.It is just the getting up and doing it.
