I just started having very intense dizzy spells out of nowhere, I can barely stand up. I also feel kind of confused and out of it. I feel like I might pass out. My boyfriend isn't home and won't be home until tomorrow morning so I would have to take an uber to the hospital but I can barely walk. I won't call an ambulance though because they're expensive and my roommate is home and it's embarrassing to me. I have had a lot of tests done including a CT scan recently so I don't think it could be anything dangerous. But I am very very dizzy and shaky and I'm so afraid I going to pass out. This came out of nowhere too, I wasn't panicking or anything.
Should I go to the ER?: I just started... - Anxiety Support
Should I go to the ER?
Sometimes anxiety can come out of nowhere. I'm not sure whether you should go to the hospital or not but I would take some deep breaths and then decide. I hope you feel better soon.
Anxiety symptoms always come out of nowhere for me. I would try to sleep it off. Hope you feel better!
Hi someone, if you went to the ER, they would probably only
start an IV drip to hydrate you. Why not try sipping on some water
and see if it helps. I had that spacey feeling earlier today while
shopping and realized I had not had any water today. Drank 1/3
of a bottle and felt better almost immediately.
I hope this works for you.. Also the deep breathing that Wizardsmom
recommended will help as well. Feel better dear. xx
Sounds like your dehydrated maybe. Why don't you all your roommate to check up on you in a bit and drink some water.
I ended up just drinking lots of water and then falling asleep. Glad i didnt go to the ER, believe it or not I really dont like it there and try to avoid it.
I just read your post and saw that you are tapering off Effexor. Is it related to that.
Sometimes when we are coming off a medication it gives room for our anxiety to creep back in.
