Somatic experiencing- everyone read

I thought I would mention, I see an osteopath for a seperate issue but he's also trained in somatic experiencing. It's amazing. It's a technique used to calm the bodies nervous system and make you feel relaxed. I really recommend it! There is an app you can download called relax which talks you through a somatic experience, it's better face to face but still really good for using at home. Xxx

hi maria hope you ok how do you go about getting somatic never heard of it luv xxx

My osteopath trained in it so he does a bit on the side I'm not sure if there are clinics that's do it. Type it in on google and read up on it there may be places but the app is good that u Download. I read a book called waking the tiger which is related to it, it is focused on PTSD but still relates to calming the nervous system and it's really good. Ill let u know if I find out about clinics offering it x

This site tells you about it. It says it is used for people who have suffered trauma, I have developed anxiety for no reason other than being stressed about my health and it works amazing for me. It taps into the nervous system and makes you aware of your own body rather than what your mind thinks is happening to your body! Xx
