Yes M, I remember getting this early days but it went away once it got into my system. I still get it now and again but find if I eat a little bit of something it helps. Sounds funny I know ....but eat little but often for the sickness x Ella x

Aww thankyou I'm always posting on here at the mo :-/ maybe it's because I've not really been eating completely lost my appetite xx

Hi taking tablets on an empty stomach does make you feel sick , any kind to be honest ..well thats what I find

I also no what its like when you dont feel like eating as well , try just a slice of toast , a biscuite , doesnt matter how small , but just a little something , as your stomach needs to be lined a little , this could help alot , along with what ella says about them as well

Try your best & let us no how you go on

O sweetheart

this will not be helping how you feel , carry a cereal bar , apple , what ever you like in your bag , I no its easy to forget to eat when you are so busy , but try putting this at the top of your list , I am sure it will help , you need your energy with a 1 year old & a 4 year old then tablets on top , give it your best to do this & let us no if it makes a difference

Good for you !

Thats all we can do is try & the more we try the easier it will get

Remember you feel a little bit better for eating , so that must show that part of the problem is lack of food

Again I no how hard it is when we dont feel like eating ,but with this it makes us feel so much worse

Its ok to feel tired , running around after a young one makes you tired , without other things on top , i no I must sound like I am repeating myself , but food will help give you more energy

Have you tried any vitamins ??? Lots take them on here , if you go in your health shop , they will point you in the right direction which ones will help you , its a thought ?

If you do just ask if its ok to take them with any other meds you take , usually it is , but its always best to ask

Be kind to yourself & put your feet up when you can , maybe when you feel relaxed you might be able to eat something while watching TV

Well done though its small steps & today you have started to take them

Post on here everyday what you have eaten if it helps , nobody will think you are crazy , just another idea

hi M ,,,i am also on citalopram and i find it better to take them after tea as i don't eat early morning. My problem is i've been on them about 6 weeks now and i am unsure wether to change to something else although i am a little nervous that a change could set me back. Just wish they would hurry up and work their magic lol Sometimes i think that ADs are just a crutch and that their effect is mind over matter but having tried CBT which didn't work for me i have to believe in them. I am also having counselling which is helping a little good luck with your meds anyway xx

Always take citalopram with breakfast never on an empty stomach. Have been taking these tablets for nearly 7 years now and have no side effects. Just had my regular appointment at Docs and he wants me to continue taking them as they keep me on an even keel.
