just wanted to share that I have had my 3rd session of CBT and it is having a dramatic effect on me. Even though I have just returned to work and am still overwhelmed and anxious by it somehow I feel more positive and rather than dreading it Im like bring it on.

Good for you Gedlley! I'm so happy for you, just been reading all the miserable blogs on this page and I'm so glad you have actually taken the help offered and done something positive instead of wallowing. Good for you!!! Lots of Love x Ella x

Thats fantastic.... well done....I'm waiting for cbt although they said it could be 6 months and I am feeling more positive since finding this site.... but I will still go when the appointment arrives...good luck and i hope it continues to have this affect on you xx

You say that you are having CBT. I am possibly going to start on this. What happens, Do you really think it is helping you.

Hi Wayhay

The whole point of CBT is to challenge negative thought patterns and to re~train your brain. I would certainly advise you to give it your best shot and enter into it with a positive attitude. I have only had 3 sessions so far and my anxiety has drastically reduced and my mood has definitely lifted. Good luck with it and let us all know how it is going for you.
