I have been changed from effexor xl (venlafaxine) to venlalic modified release tablet. they do not seem to last in my system the same amount of time and seem to have developed a rash and feel itchy all the time, wondered if anyone else has had a problem?

Hi Steve,

I don't take any meds so I'm not best placed to answer this but it sounds like you are having some unpleasant side effects. Plus the tablets aren't doing their job properly. Definitely go back to your GP. A hassle I know but go stamp your feet. You deserve better treatment than this.

Best Wishes,

Lizard.

Hi Steve, Have you asked your chemist for the original ones? sometimes they will order them for you if they are long standing scripts. Or you can ask for them at another chemist
