I'm bit worried as I had lower back pain for about 5 days and when I sat down after a walking for a fresh air and starting feel heat/bit burning on my lower & middle of back.
What is it? I'm not feeling anxiety until now?
But earlier I did put oil essential drop in bath maybe bit too much, would it cause it??
Xx

Yes, it could minnie. But more likely to be 'nerves'. I have said before, it is amazing how this anxiety thing can mimic almost every illness. Or bodies are a bundle of nerves. When in a balanced condition they behave rationally. When out of balance they behave irrationally. Is it surprising we get all the symptoms of genuine illness? Lower back pain is common in people without anxiety and is one of the most annoying of symptoms. You are feeling anxious because of the symptoms. I know you suffer with health anxiety so the symptom triggers it off. Lower back pain can take time to shift. I find the remedies like Deep Heat or Voltrarol to be useful. Hope this helps a little. Best wishes. jonathan.
Ok thank you for your reassure and I'm trying to not worrying more and relaxing! Other hot bath for me tonight and might use Dead Sea salt then deep heat muscles cream afterwards and a good old cuppa of nettle or peppermint tea and snuggle up in bed and watch tv! Sure its nothing serious?? Big hugs xxxx
Minnie, me being into the medical profession…I would strongly advice to see your GP and refer you to a Musculoskeletal/Spinal Specialist Physiotherapist so that they can perform a thorough assessment…It may not be anything but better to get it checked out to gain some relief mentally & physically
I doubt if Deep Heat would help it if was anything serious! Sorry, Sam, didn't know you were in the medical profession - what;s your specialism?
Minnie, loads of people get lower back pain - often caused by tension/straining a muscle or something. As everyone else has said, I very much doubt if it's serious - keep up with the warm baths and the Deep Heat, hun, and try not to worry about it. When we're anxious we hold ourselves "stiffly" and that could be the cause. I get terrible pains across my shoulder and neck, but I know its tension. Oh, one thing, is your bed supportive? Bad beds can be a cause, I think.
Try not to worry, my sweet, I'm sure it's nothing serious.
