So I went to the doctors this morning and explained how the palpitations were getting worse, they were lasting days on end and lasting longer when my heart was fluttering...not sure what I was expecting her to say. Well she said that the 24 hour monitor had come back fine. It was completely normal throughout and she wanted to me to try propranolol again on the lowest dose of 10mg 3 times a day..really I can take them when I like as long as no more than 3 a day. At first I thought okay maybe this will work so I took one at lunch and I guess for a little while I felt okay but right now I feel like I'm all going again...now my mind is saying "okay did that tablet help earlier but is making you feel crappy now or is it cos you need to take another one"
Now I know I have low blood pressure so now I'm thinking how can my heart cope with something designed to make your blood pressure lower when mines already low...what if this makes it so low something happens, I tell you it's tough work fearing snuffing it
Should I continue to take them or just accept I'm too terrified to keep on taking them?
