I have had very good councelling over the past year and during this councelling i am just starting to get in touch with those parts of me that went through difficult times, and what I need or might need to start making a recovery.
I had two nervous breakdowns, one in 2001 and the other in 2002, both requiring sectioning to a mental health unit, following the breakdown of a relationship. There is also an emotional link between that time and the time i was having difficulties coping educationally at school as an 8 year old, and having to go down a grade.
Through councelling and medication I now feel that my troubles are starting to lift a little or at least that i get a sense or feeling that they might be or that there is a possibility that they could be.
By troubles I mean emotional problems such as anxiety and feelings of inadequacy.
I have been reading many of your questions and blogs and really feel for you all, and will do my best to help where i can.
kindest regards,
Marcus

Hi Marcus.
Thats what i like about on here. You all go through your own problems, and come on here and want to help other people.
World would be a better place if more people were like it. Glad to hear you are being positive and wont let it beat you.

Marcus, how nice of you thinking of other people, thinking on how you can help them, not thinking of yourself
Hi. marcus. Thanks for downloading your feelings. Somewhere else on the site this a.m. there was a discussion about men being unable to express their feelings and I think it essential that we do so. You have been and are going through the 'mill'. And I think the old adage about this rotten illness only affecting nice people rings true in your case. The first part of your blog shows, what I call, 'glimpsing'. You are beginning to understand yourself and are seeing ways out of your dilemma. This 'glimpsing' is so important because it gives us hope. Why do you feel inadequate, marcus? You certainly do not come over in that way. Your help, because you speak from real experience, would always be and is welcome. You have begun the journey. Your path, your experience, is yours and no one else's. We all walk to a different drummer. I hope your path smooths out as I am sure it will. Kindest regards. jonathan.
Oh you are a bright star in a dark sky Marcus! I think you are wonderful! not a trace of inadequacy my dear! So lovely to hear your story and looking forward to getting to know you more Lots of Love and Hugs x Ella x
