An apology goes a long way! Explain that you can't sleep and are driving yourself mad with worry about everything and say it won't happen again because you have found a site where people are the same and don't sleep too, you will find someone on here at most times and they are very supportive and understanding, good luck. I agree with Steve , Canon, When we are anxious we tend to feel guilt so much more than others. I know I do. If your friend has told you how she feels,,,, how did you react? If it was badly then yes apologise . I'm sure it will be fine. She probably misses you too. Friends are like rare gold, treasure them and treat them kindly. Yes come on here and keep calm. I've learn't so much and offloaded so many problems on here .I really don't know how I lived without my friends Love and Hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
I believe that you must address the cause[s], and not the symptoms. Your mind is beating you up. You need to find someone that you can trust, and to whom you can relate your circumstances and experiences in the search for your much needed answers. I can say with certainty that with some soul searching, and a re-balanced view, you will recover and you will be a better person for it. Be patient, accept that you are on a learning curve, and try not to be frightened of these new experiences. I have been able to defer my minds exercise by remembering that every one deserves time off. Prayer is and has been effective for me. God bless.
