I suffer from extreme anxiety i have started to see the crisis team who are great. They say to break the cycle of anxiety to do different things but I feel so tired it's hard it's easier to sit around I know that's not helping myself as I just ruminate how do I get enthusiasm when I'm so tired

sandra.
i think doing anything is good, i find exercise does help. find a quiet place to go for a walk.
Hi there are things to do that may suit maybe read or listen to music or even write down what your feeling or try to remember what started it off or tidy a cupboard just to get yourself out of the anxiety zone if you have a pet give it some attention I know how you feel I've been there a long time but changing the direction of your thoughts helps wish you all the best you have some good time you deserve it. Hi Meadow, it's much much easier said than done, I know from experience. I wish I could carry a pop-up bed with me everywhere so I could sleep as and when! As Mel above suggests there are lots of things to do, set yourself goals, write them down if that helps, maybe think about small tasks to begin with and stick to them and them alone for the time being, don't push yourself. I know with me once I get going I want to do lots of things but that itself can then wipe me out so I set small tasks and build on them over time. I bought a cheap bike, rode 'around the block' on the first outing and built up the distance over the weeks. I figured that if I was going to be tired and anxious anyway that I might as well be tired and anxious and slightly fitter, any form of exercise helps to lift your mood which helps with the tiredness. You will win the fight.
