I hope that you can get the benefits and goodness that you deserve.
I've heard that talking therapy when consistent can do as much good as medication to alleviate depression and anxiety and obviously it doesn't have the side effects of medication.
I personally have found it to be extremely beneficial and helpful.
I do hope talk therapy works for you. We all need different things. Talk therapy helped me process and be validated, but didn’t help with moving forward. It was like a b****ing session. DBT has been what helps me the most. We go over strategies to manage my anxiety and go over situations in more of a structured way. Again, it may work for you, but if it doesn’t, don’t give up with therapy.
