We all have bad days ,yesterday was a bad day I didn't feel very well and I wasn't in the best of moods , but yesterday afternoon a young school girl knocked our door panicking asking for some tissue as her brother had come off his scooter, I went with her only to ,find him in a bad way he had a bad cut this top lip that definitely would need stitching and a small cut above his eye , he was only 8 and very shocked what had happened. I help him and looked after him he did need to go to the hospital, his sister called mom who wasn't in the best of moods but did come to our house ,we did call for an ambulance but mom decided to take a taxi as the ambulance would of taken to long .

We picked his scooter up and kept it for safe keeping hopefully someone will come and pick it up today .

I felt a lot better for helping someone specially being so young 😀 .

Good on you for showing your community spirit, especially to a youngster. I hope you at least got a thank you from mum.

Yes ,had a lovely surprise this afternoon, the little boys sister came with a bag of presents to say thank you ,also showed us a photo of the little chap ,he can only drink using a straw until stitches better . But he's doing OK.

I do quite well in emergency situations. It’s partially my adhd, and partially my trauma/anxiety. Helping others always helps me too. I am so glad you could be able to help these people in their trauma.
