acupuncture and anxiety relief

have had anxiety for awhile and am tired of anxiety medication side effects. Anyone tried acupuncture for anxiety relief with good results for an entended periods of time

I just finished my 4th session of acupuncture. My practioner is also into traditional Chinese medicine. She prescribed something to keep me calm. I'm taking a small dose and it seems to be helping. I think it's still to early to tell if the acupuncture is helping or not. However, the sessions are very relaxing.
