Can I ask is there any one on sertraline and small dose of amatriptaline can you tell me your experience

Took the two but separately in the past. Some people say they helped them but not me. Just know that we react differently with medications. You have to try it first to see how your body will react to it.

Good advice from Teaching. My suggestion is start with sertraline and if it suits you then add on Amitriptyline. I added Amitriptyline to my Venlafaxine and it made depression worse. It does work for others though, so i would give it a try. Good luck.

Did you have and what side effects.

I have been on it 4 weeks now but since I added I was ok at the beginning then I started getting nausea in a morning fire and now I feel my anxiety has gone worse. I only take 10mg amitriptaline and 125 sertraline

Hi SherperI was taking 5mgs but i am very sensitive to medication. I eventually like you had worsening anxiety and worsening depression. I stopped, it might be worth talking to your Dr and explain what is happening. Some people do well on it, others not good at all. Therd are several tricyclics you can try instrad. Clomipramine was very good for me years ago.

Thanks Ryanlion. My GP always tells me I fight against these meds because I don't want to take them.
