help !

last couple days Iv had serve chest pains it’s right in the middle of my chest and now it’s round my back like ribs feels all tight! When I press down it hurts so much and I’m getting shortness of breathe but I don’t think it’s a heart attack but I’m panicking it is! When I google it says it could be Costochondritis the pain is so bad! Has anyone had really bad chest pains

hi, costocondritis, is normally a torn ligament, very painful, it usually happens top and bottom of the ribs. and can make it hard to breathe, because of pain, but as you say it’s in the middle, might be a good idea to get checked out, give 111 a call, and see what they say.

out?? Has the pain gone away??

I get costochondritis and know and understand the feeling. The pain is bad and

presents down the rib cage in the front of the chest wall as well as the back.

It can be caused from extremely tight muscles which irritate the nerves between

the ribs. Let us know how you made out in having it addressed. I care xx
