Flushing and menthol sensations

Hi. Glad to find this group. I have ankylosing spondylitis and osteoarthritis. While dealing with recent sciatica and other body aches I had several episodes of hot flushing from face to trunk and arms. This included a minty sensation, runny nose, and panic. I stopped using any steroids (low dose prednisone and depo medrol knee injections), B3, alpha lipoic acid and quercerin. Allergist did a tryptase test (normal) and has ordered another within 12 hours of next reaction (I'm hoping it never comes) She also ordered epi pen.

Wanting to determine if this is an actual allergy to steroids or some other medicine or panic/anxiety attacks.
