So everytime I’m “About” To fall into a panic attack I get this weird Heat sensation in my body and then my heart starts to race or pounding really hard... does anyone get these? And they happen like at random times. I just woke up from one literally it woke me up from my sleep... it’s 2:25 AM 🙄☹️

When I am have a panic attack my tinnitus is extremely loud, it is like roaring in my head and I feel like all the blood in my blood is rushing to my head. I start to feel light headed and want to throw up. I my heart starts to race too. I can't focus on things clearly because the roaring in my head is so loud.

This happens to me all the time. It’s like I jerk and startle myself awake. They comes the hot sensation (not sweaty) and the pounding heartbeat and panicky feeling. I always have to get up and walk and try to focus on my breathing. And yes, it happens to me from 2-4 am it seems too! I knows it’s our minds playing tricks on us, but I wish I knew how to turn my brain off!!

You are all very descriptive about your anxiety symptoms. But I note nobody mentions what they are doing to recover.

May I suggest you read a short book considered by many to be outstanding in helping those experiencing anxiety disorder to recover. It was written many years ago and in that time has allowed untold thousands to reclaim their lives. You will soon recognise yourself in its pages and gain the impression that the writer knew you when writing her book.

The book offers you understanding, reassurance and a road to recovery. The author wrote several books on the method she advocates and in recent years they have received 1,600 reader reviews on amazon.com and amazon.co.uk combined. 90% of those reviews rated her method Very Good or Excellent.

You will not recover just by reading the book but by persistantly practicing the method she devised. The author is an Australian psychiatrist who experienced anxiety disorder herself. Her name is Claire Weekes and her first book is titled 'Self help for your nerves' in the U.K. whilst the same book is titled 'Hope and help for your nerves' in the U.S. Both books are available new or pre-owned from Amazon and pre-owned from Ebay. You can also hear Claire Weekes speaking about her method on YouTube but this does not replace the book.
