I had been doing so well this far managing my anxiety (got a new job and everything!) until now. I feel like SAD and the upcoming Winter is getting to me and making my anxiety worse. Whats the best way to treat it? Thanks

How do I treat SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder)
I know how you feel because I’m totally not A Winter person either.
Hi Marc0133, Some people benefit from using a SAD light, others find taking vitamin D3 very beneficial, good luck.
Hello Marc
Like asenath has said I have heard those lamps are very very good plus vitamin D
I don't know if you have tried Mindfulness I have found it very good for anxiety and I think it would be beneficial for SAD too I have just bought a book "Be Present in the Moment" by Tessa Watt It has lovely exercises and spaces to write down your feelings after doing them negative thoughts etc
I hope that you will feel better this year All the very best
Make a new friend or two. Develop[e a new interest or two. Buy a book or two.
I hear you, it's hard. Good ideas from the replies here.
I have had sad for over 50. Years. I dread the holiday season that typically makes you feel more isolated. I have had a sad light for years but never used it properly. You need to use it first thing in the morning. Use it for about 20 min. I am also trying minfullness and meditation. Meditation first thing in the morning for about 10 min. Force yourself outside. Medication is extremely helpful. Therapy with someone that you do not know. Reach out to friends just to say hello and let them know that you are struggling.
