Hello, has anyone tried lexapro for anxiety, and did it help you?

yes, it helped tremendously. Note that in the beginning, mine was paired with clonidine 0.1% and that helped immediately. After the lexapro kicked in (5-6 days) I no longer needed the clonidine; however, I still use it PRN.

Aww, thank you for checking in with me. I am doing alright and I am feeling some improvement in the dizziness that I’ve felt. Not as bad and I can drive without feeling overwhelmed by the dizziness. The reason I started taking lexapro is because of feeling dizzy and nervous while driving (driving anxiety), which started in 1995. I had a panic attack on the highway, so I have avoided driving on the highway all these years. I take shortcuts or the long routes to get to where I need to be. With lexapro, I haven’t gotten back on the highway, but overall, I am alright. I have a husband who does most of the driving. My goal is to o Dr one that obstacle. I’m taking 5 mg. Thank you again.😊
