escitalopram support

hey everyone.. recently my anxiety has reached new levels. Long story short I just started taking Escitalopram and just need some encouraging words if there are any. Stories, good bad and ugly, advice, or just plain kind words are all welcome. Always grateful for this community. Hope you are all well.

Hi Jackie, I've had nothing but praise for Lexapro. I was weaned off my benzosand placed on this medication with no ill effects.

I wish for you the same. Give it at least 4-6 weeks to reach full efficacy.

Finding other tools can help enhance the med.

I use daily Meditation and Breathing. Therapy is also important in helping

you onto the right path and working out issues in your life.

Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to respond to me. It is truly appreciated. Its definitely been interesting, but am feeling more and more hopeful by the day.

If you have just started, give it time. There will be moments that you want to stop because initially the anxiety shoots up as a side effect with other side effects. these will ween off and in 4-8 weeks you will notice a new yourself. Hang in there.
