Dianne, google the name then look for NHS choices, they will list the side effects for you to see and judge for yourself.
Good luck.
Hi Daianne
I m personally very happy with escitalopram.I was on citalopram for years before and I switched to mirtazipan.I became another person all togheter so my family suggest me to change medication.Four Gad and panick attacks I m on escitalopram with very good result! If a medicine doesn't work for you just go back to doctor and they will give u something else till u find the best one with no side effect on you.don t worry...
I suffer cronic anxiety and I am on 20mg cipralex(short name) 5mg prochlorperazine and when things are really bad to use as needed 2mg diazapam. for which I took today bad day!!
I have no side effects I dont think, I have been on them over 4 years before that 60mg cipramil doses are completely different.even though I take 2 lots are really dont like taking them and it takes me till 12 in the morning to get them down recently because really I deeply wish I didnt have to take any and was able to carry on with life drug free but im terrified.
everybody is different how they react to things, so at the end of the day its up to you to decide not easy when your an anxious person and getting horrible sensations going through your body maybe your not that bad?
