I was okay next min I started feeling really dizzy was horrible like room spinning and felt hot and sick is this a panic attack I hate this anxiety it’s scaring me so much please help

Hi and thank you for your post.👍What you have described is your anxiety reaching such a high level that your brain is going into defence mode, to protect you.

Each of us experiences panic attacks differently but the outcome is the same. The first one is so scary.🥴

Can I say that you might not have another panic attack 🤞or you might have several more. There are practical steps you can take to help you see the anxiety off. There are lots of ideas recorded on the internet or in self help books. You can also work with a clinical psychologist if you prefer to work with a person. Mention your anxiety & panic attack to your doctor. There are medications that can help. You can choose meds either as stand alone treatment or in combination with self help or therapy.

Thankyou so much am on 25mg of sertrilone and having oblong Cbt but this bout of dizzy esa is happening again it scares me so much my head feels strange and pressure

Saz I feel for you. I have had panic attacks and they can be horrific. It sounds too easy but if you can calm yourself down, slow breathing, walks, anything to sooth yourself. Depending on how quickly you can calm and I mean most days the quicker this Panic will pass. You are fighting your brain, who really don't know what to do.Have you tried acupuncture, it is painless. Keep us informed day-to-day, pls

I'm so sorry you are feeling like this. Please let your doctor know exactly what's going on. I have had a few panic attacks and they are dreadful. Just take deep breaths and try to make it through. Do you have someone you can call? I am praying that you will feel better quickly. Hugs to you.

Hey,yes it's probably a panic attack. This happens to me every day. Like 2 hours ago I was trying to fall asleep,but couldn't bcuz of intrusive thoughts and I became so dizzy and weak,I stood up and immediately started to do something to distract myself. You can also experience sweating and shortness of breath. I usually experience dizziness and itchines,sometimes burning sensation. But it's bcuz of anxiety. So no worries. Anxiety can cause so many weird physical symptoms that you'd never think of them as anxiety symptoms, you'd think you're sick or something.
