What is menthol feeling trough body

Sometimes wake up and have a menthol feeling through parts of my body. It’s a cool tingly feeling. And sometimes it feels like parts of my body are shrinking or smaller than they really are

I am not sure what it is, either, but I understand EXACTLY what you are saying and describing. I often find that my hands feel icy cold, as if they are inside a gel glove. In fact, they will hurt but no one else will feel my hands and think they are cold.

I wake up sometimes feeling cold all over my body. I will feel like it is freezing in the house, though I know it is not cold. I think this is a physiological manifestation of the anxiety and fear that we are feeling. I am no doctor, but I feel certain that this is what we experience.

I find that by vigorously walking and doing some kind of exercise, it helps.
