I had my second jab on Tuesday (the moderna) . On the Wednesday I felt really rough with a banging headache. Thursday and today my head hurts when I walk round and bend down. Did anyone else experience this after the jab ? Is it normal for it to last over 2 days

Moderna vaccine

this was my booster and me personally I was ok.
The second shot of Moderna caused a much bigger reaction for me than the first shot did. I was very tired, low grade fever, etc. for about a day and a half. I do have a friend who had a reaction that lasted 4 days. Her doctor told her that this indicated she had a strong immune system.
If, however, you continue to be concerned ask your gp or druggist. Good for you, though, in getting protected. x
Your feelings may also be related to anxiety over the shot.
Thank you very much xx
Your welcome. When you are finished with the shots I think you will be much more relaxed about going out and doing things you want. x
My auntie and uncle are triple jabbed and both got covid really badly. My best friend who isn’t jabbed at all got it mildly and only felt ill for a couple of days. You just never know. I’m about to have my second jab and I don’t know whether to or not. Has anyone else had the first and then been scared to have the second? I think it’s all the rubbish that on social media that doesn’t help! X
I was in the exact same position ! The main reason I got it was to go on holiday next month. It’s different for everyone ! I know someone who’s fit and healthy and was unvaccinated before the vax roll out and she was on oxygen, she’s only in her 30s. I know another lady who’s in her 50s who was also on oxygen . In total I know about 4/5 people personally who were in hospital with covid . I caught it and I was very ill, the illest I’ve ever been and I had only had 1 jab . My parents are in their 50s and had 2 jabs but they were fine when they got covid. Then my brother is unvaccinated and 18 but he had a sniffle . I honestly believe it’s so different for everyone . All you can do is weigh up the risks yourself and research x
Thanks so much for this reply! It’s so hard isn’t it! I feel just like you! It’s so tricky to know what to do especially with all this news! It’s like you are damned if you do and damned If you don’t! ☹️ My second jab is due in a few weeks and I guess I will do as much research as I can and go with my gut xxx
Hi No I don’t know what’s in the vaccine and in all honesty I was already nervous to get it anyway! I won’t be having anymore but it’s done now and I’ve already had the second . I have also had covid before and was very ill, I’m only 24. It’s a confusing world we are living in
I had a fever and a whopper of a headache for about 24 hours after the 2nd shot. Also got a rash on my arm both times where they administered the shot. I’m now done with the shots from now on.
