Hello!

This is a common symptom of anxiety including brain fog which makes you feel like your brain isn’t working or is empty.. you can even forget where you are and surroundings can look unreal.

Try camomile tea. It really helps to calm your nerves

Does that sound familiar?

I call what you’re describing as wobbly head. It’s nothing. You’ll get used to it and learn not to be afraid of it in time.

I Sometimes Have That Spaced Out Feeling. Like I'm Not Part of My Own Reality. Sometimes it Makes Me Feel A Bit Wobbly and Dizzy Too. Its' All Part of Anxiety. I Usually Do Whatever I Can To Ground Myself. Meaning I Concentrate On What I Am Doing, Listen To Music, Talk, Eventually It Subsides, But I Know it Can Be A Bit Un Nerving, but It Wont Harm You. You Just Have To Find Something To Focus Onto To Take Your Mind Off of Your Physical Symptoms. 'Energy Flows Where Your Mind Goes'.

I get that Spaced out feeling as if I am not really with it. It’s very hard to describe but it is only there when my anxiety is bad. I hate it and just want to be my old self. I just keep pushing myself to go out, meet up with friends but I would just prefer to stay at home and not speak or see anyone. Just want to be happy and normal but this bout is lasting a lot longer. Take care xxx

Hi, Definitely can relate. I get this feeling often. Recently was heading to my therapy spot when I step out of my car my head fogged up. Really? Why? Why then! Who knows. As I sat and talked it was like I was in a fog. Later that day I decided to just go for a walk, very cold outside but by then it started to release. I’m not sure what happened or why. I try many different things. Some work quicker than others. I try to eat a bit, rest s bit, come here to post, walk outdoors, pet my dog, text a friend who I know will make me laugh. It’s not easy. Hope we can find our way. 🙏🙏We aren’t alone. You aren’t alone. Let us know if you find things that work.

Hi Saz, Anxiety won't go away if we keep making it the focus of the day.Yes, those feelings in the head are annoying and can be even scary but it's

about anxiety getting your attention (and it did) Now the key is how to kick

that thought to the curb.

Accept it as not catastrophic. Do not fight the feeling which only will keep

you in the "fight or flight" state. Make sure you are well hydrated. Water is

our friend not our enemy. It can allow the body to function properly.

Breathing is another way in keeping ourselves pulled together.

Actually, proper breathing techniques can put you in a calmer state of mind/body

without reaching for a pill. (but only after time)

Hyperventilating can cause that dizzyheadedd feeling as well as being so afraid

that we tend to hold our breath at times. Finding methods of calm are as easy

as looking on YouTube. So many videos that are geared toward the Mind/Body Connection.

When one works right, so does the other.

Practicing Meditation and Breathing exercises is not a one time shot. It must be done

daily for at least a month before your brain accepts the changes that you want. Once

you start feeling some relief then it's about using it daily, giving yourself "me time" each

and every day.

It took me a long time to figure out that anxiety will leave you once it gets bored with

your acceptance and not giving into the thoughts it throws your way.

Keep coming on the forum knowing that you are not alone with these feelings. :) xx
