Will Anxiety go away
Hello tennessee506 I have been suffering with anxiety for 8 months now, and my body has been through all sorts of different stages, not being able to eat, stomach tightening, feeling sick when trying to eat, loosing weight, insomnia, nightmares, crying all the time etc. My body has basically been stuck in a state of fight or flight since october.
I've found that recently I have started to get better but still have anxiety, I've found that deep breathing helps me, exercise like going jogging. and also reassuring yourself from those negative thoughts that we say to ourselves (saying the opposite to the negative thought).
Hi, it does get better if you don't dwell on it and be afraid of the feelings anxiety brings to you. My sister had a huge panic attack years ago while hurrying to work and on the highway but she never had one again. Unfortunately for me, I've been dealing with anxiety and panic attacks for years and it has become worse these last few months cause I am now taking care of my elderly parents plus my own family. My sister convinced me to take meds saying she takes meds for her hypothyroidism and I need to take it for my illness being anxiety. Now I am starting to function again. She made me realize that yes this is an illness and if we need meds, so be it. Life is too short to suffer with it and my God it really does cause the mind and body a lot of unnecessary suffering!
sorry to hear about your problems with anxiety its not nice at all.
really you need to find out what exactly triggered your anxiety and then you can start to break it down and find out what you can do to help yourself.
That just it I don't know anything thing that triggered it I was having just a normal day
Hi lovely, after suffering on & off for 20 years I can tell you it WILL get better.
The first thing I would do is go and get these things checked by your doctor.....
vitamin B12
Thyroid
Folic acid
Diabetes
Hormones
These deficiencies impact hugely on anxiety & panic attacks. I recently had a terrible panic attack, got my bloods done and my B12 was the lowest the doctor had ever seen! Been having injections since & WOW what a difference.
A few things to remember, panic or anxiety will not harm you darling. The more you home in on it the less chance you have of it going. Try to distract yourself (easier said than done I know!)
If you ever need to chat I'm here & don't be ashamed to try medication! If you had a heart condition you would! We have an illness.
Sending you the calmest wishes 😘
