Hello all, I feel recently like walking on a matress. As someone who suffers from anxiety I am doing all kind of checks at the moment, currently waiting for a head CT. Everything up till now turned out normal, no issues with my ears of eyes and no neurological issues either (regular doctor's check).
It makes me wonder, is it the new shoe I got? Is it the new glasses I got. I feel lost with no answers.
It started 4 weeks ago when I started my new job. Then went away for 2 weeks. And just cane back when I had my first new born 2 weeks ago. Could it be stress? Has anybody felt like this before? It's like there is an extra bounce to my step sometime.
If you had it how did you get over it?
I can't focus on my life anymore and it is driving me crazy.

Thanks Agora1, that is exactly it, like walking on a trampoline. Have you gone past it now? It makes me feel much better to know that there are others who feel similar to me. That I am not alone. And it makes me wonder less about the physical aspect and focus more on the mental/psychological one.
I am at a pivotal point in my life and this may be the reason why I'm having a stressful reaction.
Goldensky, I am long past that sensation as well as any other trick anxiety may throw my way. My basis for getting well was in not fearing the symptoms. Taking
back control of my life. Accepting Anxiety as a game it was playing with my mind
and I was out to win. Not Fight it. Knowing it doesn't last long, just go along for the ride.
Coming onto this site, you will learn how others have handled anxiety in the past.
You will find ways that may work for you. Anxiety comes around when we are in a
change of some sort in our lives. The minute we feel we are not in control of our
life, Bam...Anxiety moves in. Don't give it a place to settle in.
Work on your issues (with a therapist/medication) if need be. Then it's about
finding some "me time" each day to collect those thoughts and breathe them away.
As you learn that life is about change, you will get to step back and take hold of the
positive things in your life. What you can change you will and what you can't you
will accept. Once there is this even balance, you will heal and once again enjoy life.
Congratulations on your newborn and your new job. High stressors right now.
You feel overwhelmed at the moment and that's quite normal. One day at a time and
