Left arm numbness

So my left arm has been numb for 6 months, I can move it but it’s very very unsensitive, when I touch it it dosent feel real, but it’s not completely numb as I can move it, just thinking if anyone knows can this be heart related ? It scares me

My step dad had this. It was a compression of the neck. He had surgery to fix it.

Hi, you should see what your doc says about this as its been going on for so long. I had a few months of waking up with my hand and arm feeling like rubber. totally numb for a bit each morning. I had to go for nerve conduction tests to rule out carpal tunnel and found it was the discs in my neck too.

Maybe its our nerves that give us the feelings in our arms. always worth having a chat with your GP.
