Left arm pain ??

I had shortness of breath , and tachycardia earlier took 25 mg of metropolol then had left arm pain called EMT everything looked good called cardiologist he said is very unlikely that im having heart problems connecting to the arm pain has anyone ever experienced this maybe im just wayy too anxious idk

I've had arm pain, mine was like a shooting pain going all the way up my arm, it's just your anxiety Hun, search up the symptoms of anxiety and arm/ other pain is common xx

Hi lulu yes it's a very common issue with anxiety and it's a worrying one because it's our left arm. Natural thought process left arm pain heart issues. Hope you are feeling better and a little relaxed now

I suffer from tachycardia too I take beta blockers and a water tablet which helps with my high blood pressure. Just had 5 months off work and doing a phased return but got great help from mindfulness and meditation downloaded from the internet we all need to learn to relax then the anxiety won't bother us so much. Easier said than done but it's worth trying to stop this horrible thing beating us xxxx

I have experienced this before too, thought I was having a heart attack it was so scary! I had CBT counselling to help with my anxiety a few months ago and one of the things that helped was this information...

It helped put my mind at ease as I had a better understanding of the difference between severe panic attacks and a heart attack.
