Hi everyone hope your well haven’t posted in a while, I’m suffering with unbearable panic attacks and constant anxious! I had a very bad experience last week where I collapsed in pain in my chest and couldn’t breathe. Went to hospital but was told wasn’t a heart attack I’ve been struggling to breath properly for about a year know. But lately it’s getting worse! Last night I couldn’t sleep as I was gasping for air every time I tried to sleep. The more I tried to breath properly it makes me worse I can’t do breathing medication.
Is anyone suffering with short of breath and constant panic? I’m getting really worked up? I suffer with a fast and fast heart rate every time I go to go out or see anyone I just get a wild panic attack. I’m convinced there is a problem down to my breathing but I’m told it’s my anxiety.

Hi, I’ve had this before. It could be anxiety and stress but it could also be acid reflux or silent reflux. That can cause shortness of breath & the gasping for air when laying down and trying to sleep. I take Prilosec for it. Do you have a doctor you can talk to? Or try to take over the counter Prilosec every morning with a glass of water for 2 weeks and see if it helps you.
Thanks I didn’t know that, I always feel sick when I’m anxious as well that’s got to be down the reflux? I’m on maximum does fore it but i wonder if there’s something else naturally I can take throughout the day
It’s anxiety and acid reflux. In my case, acid reflux is caused by my anxiety. And the shortness of breath makes you even more anxious and panic and anxiety also causes shortness of breath. It’s very uncomfortable. Look up diets and natural remedies for acid reflux.
