I stopped propranolol around 2/3 weeks ago after weaning for a few weeks but I’ve now noticed these awful leg pains, both legs and very occasionally my arms feels like they want to cramp up but they don’t just a horrible lingering ache seems worse when I’m just standing (not moving) or sitting down/in bed they don’t bother me when I’m walking etc
Sitting and in bed is the worst my feet sometimes go cold to I’ve googled and cannot find anything about what it could be other than a circulation thing but even then the symptoms don’t add up.
I remember mentioning these pains to my gp when I first started propranolol and asked if it could be a side effect she laughed and said no.
They subsided for weeks but are back now just as I’ve stopped the propranolol so wondered if anyone else has had this ?

Hi, thanks for your reply, yeah I’m going to try get an appointment with the gp and get their thoughts on it, of course anxiety has me worrying what it could be but even in the worst case such as PAD it doesn’t completely match my symptoms I have looked at restless leg syndrome to which does match my symptoms except it says it’s more a nighttime thing mine gets worse just before going to sleep but it can flare up at any point throughout the day.
I do hope it’s something that will eventually settle. But worth a chat with the doctor about.
Inositol is a very safe substance and readily available it is a sort of vitamin but it isn't - it is refered to as wifi for neurotransmitters you could give it a try
Otherwise it is just a matter of time , time to heal from it
