Iv been on 60mg propranolol (40mg on a morning, 10mg in afternoon and 10mg at nignt) for about 6 months now and recently noticed my HR has gone has low has 39 when sleeping and sometimes in the 40s when resting. I spoke to my doctor and they advised I reduce my dosage to 20mg straight away (10mg on a morning and 10mg on a night) because ideally my HR at resting should be in the 50s at the lowest. Can I get some advise on whether this is adviseable please? Thank you

It defo is the worst. Never experienced anything like it and now doctor has said I need to reduce my medication for anxiety because of my low heart rate. Making my anxiety alot worse, right now.
He/she can give you a different anti anxiety med to try that doesn’t lower your heart rate( pulse)...I’m surprised you dr didn’t recommend something else!!!
