Diaphragm

My diaphragm is really tight and it feels like it’s hard to exhale. I feel like it started from me laying on my stomach to much cause I’m always laying on my diaphragm but I’m not sure. It goes away when I put a water bottle behind my back for support or when I’m laying down.

Hi Olivia, what can help is putting a pillow under your knees when lying down.

It will help support the muscles in your back. :) xx

I think it’s just anxiety. Should be nothing to worry about but you’ve seen your doctor right?

Laying on your stomach generally makes it easier to exhale, and more work to inhale. I have asthma and frequently sleep on my stomach at night for this reason so I can get the air out better. The pressure on your tummy forced everything else up and the air out.
