Hi anxietymadman :) It is quite normal to get a fast heart rate while eating and just after.

As long as it isn't exceptionally high, it's okay. It is a part of the autonomic process in chewing and swallowing while eating. Later on the heart rate slows down while the blood volume is focused on digestion.

It sounds very normal :) xx
