Random anxiety spikes

Mostly, I struggle with depression. Anxiety is not something that I usually have problems with, but some days, from the moment I wake up, i'm just anxious throughout the whole day. I get shaky when any confrontation happens, even to just go outside by myself, getting ready to go do anything, I just get nervous. Most days I am perfectly fine with zero anxiety but it just hits me out of nowhere some days. Do any of you guys have the same sort of thing happen? It isn't like overbearing anxiety or an anxiety attack, just an overall feeling of uneasiness and slight paranoia. It kind of gets in the way sometimes because I will have plans to go do things but the anxious feelings deter me from going out.

Hi draylyn45, Mornings are the perfect time for anxiety to hit with the start of a new

day and new challenges. Plus the Cortisol and Adrenaline levels are at their highest

in the morning. The average person finds that extra adrenaline exhilarating, we get

crippled by it's affects as it puts doubts in our thinking.

The best thing we can do is to try and go forward with our plans. Once we start backing

off, it becomes easier in allowing anxiety to take control (something we don't want)

Keep coming to this site where you will learn how others have adapted to anxiety and

their way of thinking. One thing for sure is that you are not alone..We're here to help each

other through this journey. :) xx

Hi- One of my close friends has had severe panic attacks these past few days because of many things going on. Aside from the pandemic, she’s worried about the wildfires happening around their area. She’s taking medication which helps her a lot and she also has a life group she attends once a week online. Her life group helps her to be encouraged and she feels not alone. She told me that she finds comfort when someone shares life experience though it’s not about anxiety but it uplifts her.

Feel free to share anytime. I hope you will find comfort here. Stay in the group, you can learn from here how to cope and help you not to feel alone. I hope you feel better soon, praying for you.
