Propranolol
I’ve been on it 20 years i also take venlafaxine too but propranolol is very good for me but everyone is different honey
It did at first, but that was 45 years ago, so you’ve plenty of time for it to be useful!
If it’s not been explained to you, it’s important to understand the mechanism. Propranolol is not an anxiolytic; what it does is to block the beta-adrenoreceptors in those parts of the body which give you the symptoms of anxiety (headaches, stomach problems, shakiness, etc). So it breaks the cycle of the symptoms making you more anxious, and so on. It’s also a very safe drug so, if it works for you, then that might be better than taking an anxiolytic.
Yep, been on it for a month now, along with fluoexetine. It took away the shaking and pins and needles but left me a bit spaced out and so I decided to take it at night instead of in the morning and it works much better for me.
Yes I am on prooeranol and they work for me .slow the heart rate down and make me feel drowsy and at the moment going through bad HA awaiting results of MRI they are helping .take care x
I've been taking it for about 6 to 7 months now. Really does help, I started taking panic/anxiety attacks out of the blue. More than once I thought I was having a heart attack but since taking these tablets I have become increasingly more relaxed and haven't suffered any sort anxiety or panic attacks, I've also found myself not getting worked up at most thing a that i used to.
I use propranolol er for my tremors. It had slow my heart rate down because of the high dose. We finallybmanage to settle on a dosage that doesn't make my heart slow down.
