I think it was some form of anxiety. I’ve been really stressed and dealing with arguing today. I don’t have any health problems that I know of. I went to a cardiologist last year and had a holster monitor for 24 hours and tons of ekg and chest x rays at the ER.

This sounds like typical panic attack symptoms, unpleasant definitely but not a sign of anything life-threatening. I remember reading a book about anxiety, and it had some anonymous cases as examples. One of them sounded exactly like this, the patient was worrying about a heart attack, the stress was causing a loud and fast heartbeat, and that was in turn making the worries worse.

(I don't tend to get this type of anxiety, I get OCD and sometimes GAD but that hasn't been so bad recently.)
