Side effects from meds usually settle down over 2-3 weeks. If not, a discussion about the pros and cons of continuing the meds is required with your doctor. There are lozenges that you can take, tablets and gels besides drinking more water.

I have it. Just by drinking a big glass of water before bed and having some in a glass on the bedside table to sip is enough to get me through the night. Your mouth feeling rough and scratchy next morning is so yuck😬

Thanks Blackcat, do you have more info on the lozenges, tablets and gels. I am in Australia and all I can find by way of treating the sides effect is a colgate mouthwash that i tried and it had no effect at all

Hi again, I am in Australia too. Chemist Warehouse have these:-

1. Therabreath lozenges

2. Biotene gel

Both are about $15 but less if on special or you can shop around chemists.

Xylimelts are good too if you can find them
