Hi guys I’m scared to learn how to drive today because I think something will go wrong ive been scared of everything when I’m suppose to be enjoying life anxiety is stopping everything I feel something is wrong with me and I have all type of diseases and something bad will happen I just want to feel normal again and not overthink and not thinking twice about learning how to drive I should be happy I’m 16 or when I am happy these feelings come over me and I’m just so sad idk what to do anymore 🥺

Do you talk to your parents or anyone that you can trust ?

Your fears are more common than maybe you think , lot's of young adults have the same fears they just don't seem to show them like some others do

I am not sure where you are but if you are in the UK you cannot learn to drive till you are 17 so try not to worry about things that are not an issue for you now

When it comes to driving y Son did not want to learn and he was 22 when he did and past his test

We are all different and that is fine , do things when you feel ready not when you think Society expects you to

I live in the US and can learn now but my anxiety makes me scared to before I couldn’t wait to learn how to drive and now idk

Well it is ok if you are not ready to learn yet , we are all different

If you can accept you are not ready that will help take the pressure of yourself and when we take the pressure away we can then start to achieve things we thought we could never do

Accept who you are and you have your whole life in front of you to do some wonderful things in your time , forget what everyone else is doing at your age , you are you and unique in your own way x
