Can somebody help? I feel an attack coming on. It was all sunny out and now it’s dark and windy and it’s suppose to thunderstorm. I hate storms. I always think the world is ending. I’m scared.

I probably won't be a help as I love storms. I would like to be one of those people that chase storms. Mother Nature fascinates me.
You don't like the sound of rain? To me it is peaceful. I love reading a book or sleeping when it rains.
I use to love rain. But when it goes from 100+ degrees and sunny to dark and windy and stormy with thunder and lightning within 10 minutes it tends to freak me out.
Great advice from Noz29 . You'll be fine and even though it may seem like it the world can not end from a storm and the sun will always shine again (even though it may take longer to shine in the uk lol)
Ha ha the weather over here in Holland is exactly the same. I hope you'll get trough the storm anon. I'm sure you will. You seem like a fighter of what I've read from your stories. Take care all!!!
I love Holland. Been there twice. People are so friendly and everybody seems to speak English. Beautiful countryside.
How come I have the exact same opinion about the UK? 😋 Ive lived there for a couple of years when I was younger and absolutely loved it. And I have a family member who lives there. And the country side is amazing. And so are the ppl.. Always calling you "dear" or "love" or "darling".
I'm from the US but I have been to London and drove the Chunnel to Europe. The thing that got me was the warm beer in the pubs. It is served cold here.
Yes, people were friendly but hard to understand with the accent. I think I understood people from Holland better. 😋
Yeah the UK have a lot of accents don't they? Some weird ones if I may say. I lived in Newcastle up north for a few years. They speak Geordie there. That's a language by itself. Very hard to understand. And weird at times. And just pure comedy. Whey aye pet! I hope everyone over there in the US is getting trough this covid 19. I don't watch TV anymore but from what I've heard it's chaos. So good luck and stay safe and healthy.
I live in the U.S. the Midwest. Thunderstorms are a common as the corn and bean fields. I agree with Noz29 and would add make sure you understand your countries codes. Here a watch is just that conditions are favorable where a warning is time to take shelter. I have learned not to worry until you hear the warning. Then take shelter. Otherwise you are wasting your time worrying over nothing. I know it is easier said than done I have generalized anxiety disorder.
I'm the happiest when its sunny and more out of sorts when its raining and thundery makes me feel down.
You be surprised what it does to our mood when its horrible weather
