Can somebody talk me through this? I’m having a hard time shaking this attack today. My hands are pale. My heart rate feels crazy but when I check my pulse it feels not skippy like it does in my chest. My hands are tingly and feet. Kindve numb. And They’re sweaty.

anon, your hormones are all messed up after giving birth and you suffered anxiety before so the hormone thing on top of anxiety is not a good feeling at all.

have you spoken to anyone about how you feel? your mom or your doctor?

if not maybe you should ask for help. there is treatment for your condition. i know because i went through it myself years ago. ill be thinking of you and check in later today right now im about to be away for a couole of hours. hang tight girl

Sounds like hyperventilation and anxiety. Remember, you are not sick, all in your head.

I can only speak from my experience, but it seems as though the symptoms are really scaring you. Tingling, heart rate etc...

The problem is that the symptoms don’t matter. They are just a by product of anxiety. Your body’s alarm is going off but there is no fire. So maybe start accepting the symptoms. Accept the thoughts. Don’t fight. Do the opposite.

Check out Claire Weekes. She wrote a great book called Hope And Help For Your Nerves. Face, Accept, Float, Let time pass. You can recover from anxiety, it just takes practice. Unfortunately it won’t happen overnight. It’s taken me almost three years and I still have bad days. But my good days way way outweigh my bad days.

Also check out that anxiety guy on Facebook. Straightforward advice.

Your nerves are damaged. They are shooting off adrenaline and you don’t need it. So your body is doing weird shit. Get out of the way, and let your nerves heal. And slowly over time you can recover.

Again, this is just my own experience. I realize everyone is different. But remember that your symptoms are totally normal, no matter what they are.

Hey, how are you feeling now? I know my face and lips would twitch and feel tingly with anxiety. I also had leg cramps. Anxiety will make you feel like you have been in a train wreck. It is a mind thing. I hope today is much better for you.

I’m so sorry you’re feeling bad. Anxiety can be scary. Try to breathe slowly and deeply. Are you on meds?
