I am new here and I have recently been diagnosed with anxiety. I've had it all of my life but denied it. I thought that I could handle it on my own. Turns out I was wrong. I am lesbian and my world is falling apart. I just need to find a friend.

It can feel such a lonely place when you have anxiety , you feel you are the only person that could possibly be suffering like this but as you look round the Community you will see you are not which can be a relief and you will have online friends here which I hope helps that you will be able to talk to and that will share their experiences with you and even when we don't have the answer we are very good at listening

Yes, I am on anti-depressants. I just feel like no one understands me and that they feel like I am making up the anxiety that I'm feeling. I just want a friend to hang out with who won't judge me.

Hi how are u feeling today?? We are all here sharing the same things and experiences. I feel I can come here anytime and find someone to chat too. It's amazing how just talking about it and writing it down helps 😀

Let us be your glue to help put your world back together. There is some amazing people on here, one thing that we all agree on is that it can be one of the hardest things to deal with. Things do get better , I promise.
