I actually get really bad bloating often
Bloating can be due to anxiety because when we are anxious
we tend to swallow more air when we talk or breathe. Bloating
can also be due to gassy foods. If you can tolerate a cup of Chamomile
tea, it can help in dispelling the bloating feeling. xx
Possibly? I am not sure.
I know for females bloating can be pretty regular and normal... especially around certain times of the month when we have more water retention.
Whenever I am extra anxious, I know I am more aware and unsatisfied with how bloated I get. Actually, when I anxious or especially stressed, my digestive system has a harder time.
I have to be more kind to myself and remember that it’s stress, not some underlying issue.
Also, when I am more stressed and spread too thin between all of my responsibilities, maybe I make worse health decisions - like not eating enough or eating fast food too much “on the go” or sacrificing exercise.
I know it helps to make sure you’re drinking water, not soda, not a lot of sugar or salt, and make sure you’re getting a good amount of fiber in your diet. I know they also recommend exercise that can help. You know your body and what’s normal for you.
But, I know it’s good to talk to others about what’s healthy and a regular experience... that it can reassure our anxiety in health situations. Idk.
