Hello I did try it for a week or two and didn't agree with me. It definitely made anxiety better but just didn't sit we with me. Saying that I know loads of people who say it's the best thing ever. I dicided not to use medicine. You'll be fine honestly.

I honestly don’t want the meds it’s just I haven’t been sleeping so I was like I’ll give it a try to take the edge off to just get back into a better sleep schedule

Hello. Zoloft is more for depression. I don't know why they push it for anxiety. It made me feel like a zombie. Anxiety I would recommend valium ativan or xanax...starting in small doses as needed. They wil try to give you something to take everyday then you become dependent on it

Wow , so they started me on 25mg honestly I haven’t taking it yet I would have preferred xanax because I knew someone on it and they did amazing with it although I know everybody bodies are different .

I’m so against the meds I said I’m only gonna take half of the pill 🤦🏾‍♀️

Hi, i took zoloft some years back, it was not effective for me. I know people who get good results from it. For me, medications was a trial and error thing until we found a med compatible with my body chemistry.

My doctor put me on zoloft last year. I took one dose and was knocked out for three days. I have very low tolerance for any meds. I only took the 1, but I did stop smoking.

He also gave me xanax for emergency situations. Luckily I have only had to take those like 3 times.

Best of luck to you.

Hi! I have been on zoloft for going on three years.. I put off trying medication for 5 years before I finally caved and said enough was enough! My only regret was that I didn’t try it sooner! Zoloft helped me and made me feel like “me” again. I had no scary side effects, and went from having a panic attack every day to one every year perhaps? I also started off on 25mg, then 50, then 100. Then, my doctor still wasn’t totally satisfied because I was there having panic attack weekly.. so she suggested 150mg, and that’s where I’ve happily been for three years now! you have to give it time and be patient. Best of luck to you! Xo

I was diagnosed with depression and anxiety and my doctor has prescribed me with zoloft. I really don't want to take medication because I'm worried that I might relapse in a few years after stopping it. Do you think its a wise thing to tell my doctor that I don't want to take the medicine even though he recommends that I take it?

Also, if you don't mind, please could you tell me why you put off trying medication for 5 years?

Thanks xx
