Why don't you call the MD back and review the fact you have continued symptoms?

Do you have allergies or anything else it could be?

I keep thinking is it anxiety or is it the virus

I’ve also rang the doctors 5times in the 5 weeks I’ve had this and they all said it’s anxiety

Sometimes with health anxiety you can become extremely aware of body functions such as nasal drip. It’s not normal to think of this so much - maybe worse than whatever problem you may think you have. I say this as someone with OCD and have had many episodes where I wasted so much time obsessing over something- do you have a mental health consultant you can speak to about this?

No I don’t have a mental health consultant

I recommend speaking with a therapist and mentioning your anxiety over this. You will feel better about it.

It sounds like you don't believe what your doctor has told you. Go back and ask for further tests. We can't tell you whether it is a serious medical problem or not, all we can tell you it is very common with anxiety. There is no point in keeping posting the same question over and over as we can only give you the same answers.

Maybe having multiple tests with various doctors will put your mind at rest?

its just hard with all this going on keep going to the doctors

Please contact your Doctor, now..today. Breathing is something we need to do. I understand and empathize that seeing doctors is hard to do. But, this seems to be your only pathway towards either a better health solution or peace of mind.

I’ve seen my doctor about 2weeks ago and I’ve rang them up about 5times

Two weeks is a long time. Today is a new day to scedule a visit or do a virtual visit.

Hypercat54's comment is a good one. "There is no point in keeping posting the same question over and over as we can only give you the same answers.

You need to remember MD are still available to you. It may be a telemedicine visit but since you've been seen for the same issue they have data to look at.

Darryl, hypercat54 and I are giving you the best advice to help you deal with this.

Physician contact is what you need to do.

Hi lee I’m someone else who suffers with health anxiety and with everything happening around the world we are all a little too cautious but sweetie when you feel something is wrong with your breathing I think we as humans concentrate and focus on just that and we find sometimes we make ourselves 10 times worse by dwelling on it.. I’m not saying your not experiencing this as you obviously are it’s just I know when I’m like this I make myself worse by dwelling on it most of the time... I can go to the drs and I’m reassured then about a hour later I’d be constantly looking for that quick fix that reassurance that I’m ok and after that I’d still find something else to fear it’s a horrible viscous circle to live with.. but if you look on my posts you will see I had the same thing at Christmas it lasted for 2 months?? I had test galore all came back ok but with this happening it’s doubled your worst fears I’m the same if I sneeze or cough... if I was you I’d make another appointment to get yourself checked it could be a nasal drip at the back of your throat that’s tickling and making you cough but get it checked out as soon as you can chick

Hope this helps lee
