I can sleep ok i just wake up early and can't get back to sleep, it's just a pressure in my head 24/7 i had a blood test months ago and they came back ok but that was a little before these headaches, the doctor told me he thinks it's anxiety when i told him of my symptoms but they are better now and now i have this head pressure thing all the time

I just don't know if it's anxiety. As soon as i wake up i have this pressure in my head, i don't even get a minute to feel anxious and then I'm just thinking about it all day

Hello, take your mind off your head for a minute. Just sit down and take a deep breath or two while reading this.

You were very good in sharing your symptoms and concerns. That takes courage to open up to strangers.

You have also received some very good rational replies from Goldie for each question you asked.

Since your doctor has ruled out anything serious medically to be causing your headaches and pressure. So at this point, whether you call it anxiety, tension, headache, pressure or just a sore head, it really doesn't matter.

Anxiety can be the cause. Maybe not. Please don't continue thinking something worse is wrong.

Just concentrate on trying to get as much sleep as you are able, take care of yourself, eat regularly, and try to do some things that help you relax.

You have something to take to ease your discomfort. Be certain to take it as directed.

I really hope your symptoms resolve soon and wish you a good night sleep tonight. :)

I have not been to the doctors about this head pressure yet but i went a few weeks ago for other symptoms and he thinks it's anxiety, i took a blood test a few months ago and everything was normal but that was before this head thing, i keep thinking this isn't normal and must be something serious as i wake up and my head feels weird straight away, i don't get 1 minute to feel normal

Well anxiety can make you feel "not normal", and can play tricks on you by trying to make you believe there is something else going on....We all get our pains and aches, and weird little physical feelings....that's just the nature of living with anxiety. You tell scr** you to anxiety when it causes something to worry us, so it just finds another way to worry us. So maybe it's time to tell this one to scr** you and forget about it....get on with your daily life. :)
