Depression and Anxiety and no light at the end of the tunnel

I take quite a few meds as I have heart disease, kidney disease, osteoarthritis in both knees, diagnosed as bipolar and have depressive episodes and general anxiety disorder. I am currently taking Cymbalta 30 mg. daily and Ativan .5 mg. three times a day as needed. In the past four weeks or so, I was hospitalized for my magnesium being critically low and was given IV's to bring it back to normal. A week later I came down with a nasty URI and still not completely over it. My depression and anxiety has gotten really bad during this time period. I can't sleep, I feel as if I am burning up and thoughts race through my mind. I am restless and eat all the time but I don't gain any weight. Please share if you have experienced the same or have any suggestions for me.

Hello :-)

I am so sorry you are going through so much :-(

Anxiety and depression are alone enough to deal with never mind having health problems like you do to

I have no words of wisdom others may come along that do , but wanted to let you know you are not alone and we do read posts and we do care and knowing someone is listening sometimes can help a little :-)

I would suggest if you are not feeling better that you try and speak or ask for a phone call of your Doctor

Hope you get some good advise from others :-)

There is light at the end of the tunnel trust me , sometimes it can be hard to see but it is there :-)

I have put a few links on to other Communities that might help you with your physical issues as you can be a member on as many Communities as you like on Health Unlocked :-)

Hello, thanks for sharing your experiences. It is understandable these things have been difficult for you. I admire your strength through the experiences. I am wondering if you have had any suicidal thoughts? I am wondering what has helped you deal with the depression, anxiety, restlessness, and racing thoughts in the past? Thanks for reaching out.
